This 1969 Porsche 911T has been refinished in white over red, and its replacement 2.2-liter flat-six is paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include twin Weber carburetors, 14″ Fuchs-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a Momo steering wheel, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. The seller acquired the car in September 2013, and service since 2016 has consisted of rebuilding the carburetors, cleaning the fuel tank, and replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel hoses, and ignition components. The car runs and drives, although cylinder number six has low compression. This 911T project is offered at no reserve with service records, a Porsche Production Specifications certificate, and a bonded Connecticut title in the seller’s name.
The car was delivered new in Canary Yellow (6824) and was refinished in white under previous ownership. An aftermarket front bumper has been added, and the seller notes imperfections in the finish in addition to rust in the inner rockers and floors as well as rust bubbles around the car. The paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below.
The 14″ Fuchs-style wheels are mounted with 195/70 Yokohama Avid H4 tires, which show 2014 date codes. Each corner is equipped with disc brakes.
The interior is trimmed in red with matching carpeting, floor mats, and door panels. A Blaupunkt AM/FM radio is fitted, and wear is noted on dashboard controls in addition to cracks in the dash pad.
The Momo steering wheel fronts an 8k-rpm tachometer, 150-mph speedometer, combination gauges, and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles, approximately 3k of which are said to have been added by the seller over the previous eight years. Total mileage is unknown, and the odometer, speedometer, and tachometer are inoperable.
The replacement engine-case stamping reads ☆6108544☆ and is consistent with a 1970 2.2-liter flat-six for a 911T, which was originally rated at 120 horsepower. The twin Weber carburetors were rebuilt in 2016, at which point the fuel tank was cleaned and the fuel pump, fuel hoses, fuel filter, and ignition rotor were replaced. A PerTronix electronic ignition module has been added. The seller notes that compression is low in cylinder six. Hand-written documentation of the compression readings is shown in the gallery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional photos of the underside and interior floors are presented in the gallery below, and rust is noted underneath.
The Porsche Production Specifications certificate lists the production date, original colors, powertrain numbers, and factory-delivered options.
