This 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T was purchased by the seller in 2006 and subsequently underwent a refurbishment in 2015 that was completed the following year. The car is finished in green over black leather upholstery, and power comes from a replacement 440ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include “Six Pack” induction with triple Holley two-barrel carburetors, a stainless steel exhaust system, a Go Wing, a shaker hood and intake, a Hurst pistol-grip shifter, and an AM/FM radio.
The car was stripped to bare metal and received replacement body panels before a repaint in its current green was performed during the refurbishment. Features include a shaker hood and intake, hood pins, 440 Six Pack badges, black R/T stripes, body-color side mirrors, dual exhaust outlets, and a Go Wing.
The 15″ painted Rallye wheels wear trim rings and are mounted with 235/60 front and 275/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes.
The cabin features high-back bucket seats trimmed in black leather upholstery, with a matching rear bench and carpets as well as wood-look trim on the center console, doors, and dashboard. Features include a Hurst pistol-grip shifter, an AM/FM radio, and R/T-branded floor mats.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows under 67k miles, 1k of which were reportedly added since the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown.
Delivered from the factory with a 383ci V8, the car is now powered by a replacement 440ci V8 that is said to have been rebuilt during the refurbishment. The engine features “Six Pack” induction with three two-barrel Holley carburetors. An oil change was last performed in 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. A stainless steel exhaust system was fitted during the refurbishment.
