A 3.4-liter diesel inline-four drives the rear or all four wheels through an H55 five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The truck also features a 24-volt electrical system, a limited-slip differential, power steering and brakes, and modifications such as powder-coated 16″ steel wheels, four inward-facing jump seats, mud flaps, and tri-color taillamps. An August 2020 service included an oil change, a valve adjustment, and a coolant flush as well as replacement of the thermostat and fuel filter. Now showing 96k kilometers (~59k miles).
The truck is finished in white and features ambulance-style cargo doors, four sliding side windows, side steps, a black mesh grille, mud flaps at each corner, and tri-color taillights in place of the stock European-market versions.
Replacement 16″ steel wheels have been powder-coated aLording to the seller, and are mounted with 235/85 Toyo Open Country A/T-II tires. A spare wheel with a matching tire is housed under the rear end. The truck is equipped with power-assisted steering and front disc brakes.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in gray vinyl as well as four inward-facing and folding jump seats that were sourced from another Land Cruiser. Additional equipment includes a branded rubber floor cover, a radio blanking plate, crank windows, and a heater.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation including a 160-km/h speedometer with a six-digit odometer showing 96k kilometers (~59k miles).
The naturally-aspirated 3.4-liter diesel inline-four was serviced in August 2020 at 91k kilometers (~56k miles) with an oil change, a coolant flush, and a valve adjustment as well as replacement of the thermostat and fuel filter. Two 12-volt Toyota TrueStart batteries were installed in 2018 along with replacement glow plugs and a bus bar.
An H55 five-speed manual transmission routes power through a two-speed transfer case and two differentials, including a full-floating rear end with a limited-slip differential.
