This 1980 Porsche 928 is finished in silver over black leather and is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The air conditioning system was recharged in July 2021.
The body is finished in Silbermetallic (L936) and features aerodynamic styling with integrated bumper covers, pop-up headlights, fog lights, and a rear wiper.
Silver-finished 15″ phone-dial alloy wheels feature Porsche-crest center caps and wear Yokohama Avid Touring-S tires that show date codes from 2020. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with slotted rotors up front. The rear brakes and rotors were replaced in July 2021. A compact spare, air compressor, and tool kit are located under the rear cargo area.
The 2+2 cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in black leather with matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes an AM/FM cassette stereo, a VDO analog clock, a passenger-side electric mirror, power windows, and an aftermarket short shifter. The air conditioning was serviced with a refrigerant recharge and replacement compressor belt in July 2021.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 53k miles.
The 4.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 231 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque for the North American market. European-specification cylinder heads have been fitted, and the removed cylinder heads are included in the sale. Work at Nordkuste Performance of Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, in July 2021 included replacement of the timing belt, rollers, camshaft seals, front crankshaft seal, water pump, thermostat, windshield washer pumps, heater control valve, accessory belts.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rear-mounted five-speed manual transaxle.
