This 1965 Mercedes-Benz 220SE cabriolet is a US-spec model that was reportedly acquired by its original owner in Portugal through the European Delivery Program. Finished in white with a black soft top over red leather, the car is powered by a fuel-injected 2.2-liter M127 inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The suspension and steering systems were refreshed during previous ownership, and the car was acquired by the seller in July 2018. Work has since included a rebuilt water pump, re-cored radiator, a valve job, and a replacement cylinder head gasket, fuel pump, thermostat, shift column bushing, rear shocks, and brake components.
The car was factory finished in White (050) and features a black soft top, a red boot cover, and a power antenna that was replaced in 2019.
The 13” steel wheels feature chrome covers with body-colored centers and are mounted with 185/70 Kumho Solus TA11 tires. The suspension and steering assembly were overhauled in 2017, while work during current ownership has included a brake fluid flush, an emergency brake cable adjustment, front end alignment, chassis lubrication, power steering pump reseal, and replacement of the front brake pads, steering center link, and rear shock absorbers and brake shoes.

The 2.2-liter M127 inline-six features Bosch mechanical fuel injection and was factory rated at 118 horsepower. The engine mounts are said to have been replaced during previous ownership, while work in the last three years has included re-coring the radiator, repainting the engine block, adjusting the valves, and replacing the following components:
