This 1975 Porsche 911S began life as a Targa model and was converted to a Slant Nose-style cabriolet under previous ownership. The car is finished in black over a black leather interior and is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black convertible top, 17″ Fuchs-style wheels, front and rear spoilers, LED headlights, sport seats, and a 930S-style steering wheel. The seller acquired the car in 2018, and the transaxle was rebuilt in March 2019.
Originally a Sahara Beige Targa, slant-nose and convertible conversions were carried out prior to a repaint in black. Features include a black soft top, steel front and fiberglass rear fenders, a “tea tray” rear spoiler, aftermarket LED headlights, fog lights, and a carbon-look center rear panel.
Polished aftermarket 17″ staggered-width wheels are wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact DW Tuned tires sized 255/40 front and 285/40 rear. The suspension features Bilstein shocks and a lowered ride height, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. In December 2020, a brake fluid flush was carried out.
The cabin was reupholstered in black leather with a matching dash, door panels, and carpets. Bolstered front sport seats have been added, and additional equipment includes power windows, a heater, and floor mats. The Blaupunkt AM/FM radio is inoperable.
A 930S-style steering wheel frames a centrally mounted 8k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and an analog clock, along with gauges for fuel level, boost pressure, oil level, oil pressure, and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 67k miles.
The 2.7-liter flat-six features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was removed for a rebuild in 2018 by Precision Motion of Colton, California. The seller notes that oil leaks are present, and the car does not require California SMOG tests as a 1975 model year.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle that was fitted with new synchros in 2018.
