This 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport was purchased new by the seller’s father from Chapman Jeep of Las Vegas, Nevada, and now has 78k miles. The truck is finished in Patriot Blue over Agate gray cloth and powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes aftermarket 15″ wheels, power accessories, and a trailer hitch receiver as well as the Up Country Suspension Package, which included a limited-slip rear differential, skid plates, heavy-duty shock absorbers, tow hooks, and a transmission cooler. Work since January 2021 includes fluid changes as well as replacement of the rear main seal and battery.
The body is finished in Patriot Blue Pearl Coat with color-matched fender flares and black bumper caps as well as roof rails with crossbars, power folding and heated mirrors, tinted windows, and an optional trailer hitch receiver. The windshield was replaced in January 2016.
Aftermarket 15″ Vision wheels wear 235/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires, which were reportedly mounted in 2018. The Up Country Suspension Package includes skid plates for the front suspension, transfer case, and fuel tank, a 1″ suspension lift, heavy-duty shock absorbers, and tow hooks.
The interior is trimmed in Agate gray cloth with patterned seat inserts and gray carpets. Amenities include high-back front seats, a cassette/CD stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, remote keyless entry, and power-operated windows, mirrors, and locks.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel mounted on a tilting column frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,250-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates just over 78k miles.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Service in July 2019 included replacing the radiator, radiator hoses, and thermostat as well as servicing the air conditioning with a refrigerant recharge and a replacement manifold hose.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels though a four-speed AW4 automatic transmission with an optional auxiliary cooler, a Command-Trac dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential. The seller states that the differentials were serviced in January 2021.
The window sticker lists factory colors and options including the Up Country Package. Manufacturer’s literature, service records, and three keys with two fobs are included in the sale.
