This 2002 Jaguar XJR 100 is one of 500 examples produced commemorating the 100-year anniversary of the birth of Jaguar founder Sir William Lyons. Finished in Anthracite Metallic over black leather, it is powered by a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 19″ BBS wheels, a power sunroof, heated power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a factory stereo with a CD changer. Work performed in preparation for the sale reportedly included replacing the headliner, balancing the wheels, and changing the oil. The car was first delivered to Momentum Jaguar in Houston, Texas, and remained with its original owner until the seller’s acquisition in March 2021.
The car is finished in Anthracite Metallic and features a chrome “leaper” hood ornament, black window trim, a power sunroof, parking sensors, polished exhaust finishers, and an “XJR 100” badge on the trunk lid.
Silver 19″ BBS Montreal wheels wear red Jaguar center caps and 255/35 Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, and the car features traction and stability control. A wheel balance was performed in June 2021.
The cabin features Warm Charcoal leather seats with contrasting red stitching along with Birdseye maple trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a factory Alpine stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer.
A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The seller reports the fuel gauge only functions intermittently. The digital odometer indicates 69k miles.
The supercharged 4.0-liter DOHC V8 was factory-rated at 370 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.
The window sticker shows a total suggested retail price of $79,425.
