Equipment includes a roof rack, 15″ alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, fog lights, power windows, air conditioning, and an aftermarket JVC CD stereo. The truck spent time in Alabama and North Carolina prior to the current owner’s aquisitong in 2018, and recent maintenance is said to have involved servicing the brake system and replacement of the front wheel bearings, muffler, steering coupler, and rear shocks.
The truck was reportedly repainted in silver during the 1990s and features faux wood paneling, fog lights, a roof rack, a receiver hitch, a power-retractable rear window, and chrome bumpers.
Factory 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 235/75 Goodyear Wrangler Radial tires. A two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 91k miles.
The 5.9-Liter AMC 360 V8 was rated at 144hp and 280 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was completed in June 2021 along with the replacement of the battery cables and terminals.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range Selec-Trac transfer case. The transmission linkage, muffler, and tailpipe were reportedly replaced in June 2021, and the seller notes a leak at the transfer case output seal and between the transfer case and transmission.
