This 1999 BMW M3 is a white-over-black coupe that is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car was ordered without a sunroof, and it is equipped with power-adjustable Vader front seats, automatic climate control, a Harman Kardon sound system, forged 17″ M Double Spoke wheels, a Dinan short-throw shifter, and a Dinan exhaust system. First delivered to Chaisson Motorcars of Las Vegas, the car was acquired by the seller out of California in September 2020. Subsequent maintenance included an oil change and refresh of the cooling system.
The exterior is finished in Alpine White and features fog lights and factory aerodynamic bumpers, side sills, and mirrors. The car was ordered without a sunroof, and a rear lip spoiler has been fitted.
Staggered-width and forged 17″ M Double Spoke wheels are fitted with 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/3+ tires. The car is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension and a traction-control system.
Black Nappa leather upholstery covers the power-adjustable front Vader sport seats. A Dinan short-shift kit has been installed along with carbon-fiber trim with a BMW Motorsport plaque fitted on the right side of the dashboard, and additional features include, automatic climate control, an onboard computer, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset fuel economy gauge, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 32k miles.
The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six produced 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque when new, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A Dinan exhaust system was installed during prior ownership in December 2009, and maintenance conducted by the seller within the past year included an oil change and replacement of the cooling system components.
The window sticker lists specifications, colors and equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $43,640. Service records, keys, and manufacturer’s literature are also included in the sale.
