This 1964 Ford Thunderbird was delivered new to Santa Monica Ford in California, and was acquired by the seller in 2016 following a refurbishment in red over white leather. Work performed under current ownership is said to have included replacement of a cylinder head, the spark plugs, and the radiator along with the convertible top and hydraulic assembly.
The car was finished in Rangoon Red from the factory, and was repainted under previous ownership. A replacement white convertible top was installed along with a replacement hydraulic assembly in 2019 according to the seller. Additional details include a faux hood scoop, a chrome front bumper and taillight surround, tinted windows, and rear fender skirts.
Black 15″ steel wheels wear chrome covers with faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with American Classic whitewall tires. Braking is handled by drums at all four corners.

The 390ci V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 427 lb-ft of torque. Service under current ownership is said to have included replacement of a cylinder head as well as the spark plugs and radiator.
