This 1966 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is one of 35 examples converted from four-door to two-door saloons by coachbuilder James Young Limited over a two-year production run. The car is finished in green over light green leather, and was converted from right-hand to left-hand drive under previous ownership. Power is from a 6.2-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and additional features include air conditioning, power windows, and a Blaupunkt cassette stereo.
The conversion from four to two doors by James Young included elongating the front doors in addition to revising the quarter panels and windows. The roof, front fenders, front valance, and rear corners are said to have undergone repairs and paintwork as part of the seller’s refurbishment. Brightwork includes the vertical front grille, bumpers with overrides, Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, and dual fender mirrors.
Steel 15″ wheels wear stamped covers and Michelin whitewall tires with pre-2000 date codes. Brake work carried out by the selling dealer included replacement of the master cylinder, lines and flexible hoses, rear calipers and pads, and RR363 fluid. The right rear shock absorber was also changed.
The cabin features front bucket and rear bench seats upholstered in green leather along with matching dash pads, door panels, and carpets. Wear is visible on the seats and front carpeting. Wood trim aLents the dash face, door tops, and windshield surround. Amenities include power windows as well as a Blaupunkt cassette stereo and Frigiking air conditioner mounted beneath the center of the dash. The right power window motor has been rebuilt aLording to the seller.

The steering wheel and pedals have been moved to the left side, obstructing the glove compartment, and the former steering column slot on the right side has been filled in. Instrumentation remains on the right and consists of a 130-mph speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 53k miles, with the actual total unknown.
The 6.2-liter V8 was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque. A universal fuel pump and a used Lucas ignition coil were fitted during current ownership, and new float and needle kits were installed in the dual SU carburetors. The alternator was also rebuilt.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The seller had the left axle shaft rebuilt as well as replacing the bent rear subframe with a used substitute.
