The quarter panels, roof, floor pan, trunk floor, and rear deck cowl were replaced and the car was refinished in black with a gray front accent stripe as part of a refurbishment completed in 2013. Electric headlight doors have been added, and the bumpers, glass, trim, and light bezels were reportedly replaced. Additional details include front and rear lip spoilers, an SS-style hood, SS badging, a driver-side mirror, and fog lights.
Staggered width Budnik 18″ alloy wheels wear BFGoodrich GForce Sport tires. BAER four-wheel disc brakes and a Hydratech brake booster have been installed along with Speedtech upper and lower control arms, Bilstein shocks, and Global West springs, subframe connectors, and a 1″ front sway bar. The front right inner fender was modified to prevent tire rubbing.
The bucket seating was retrimmed in black vinyl as part of the 2013 refurbishment, and a replacement dashboard, headliner, and carpets were installed. Woodgrain trim adorns the dashboard and center console, and additional features include lap belts for the front seats, courtesy lights, rubber Camaro-branded floor mats, a glovebox, and a push-button AM/FM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits on a tilting column and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, 7k rpm tachometer, and an analog clock. Additional gauges are mounted in the center console and indicate battery charge, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 16k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 383ci stroker V8 is equipped with Trick Flow heads, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, a Comp Cams hydraulic roller camshaft, forged pistons and rods, and a March Performance belt drive system. Cooling is provided by an Edelbrock water pump and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. An MSD distributor has been fitted along with a Mallory ignition box, Pertonix coil, and trunk-mounted Optima battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission equipped with overdrive. Additional equipment includes a Ram Powergrip clutch, Lakewood steel bell housing, a 3″ aluminum driveshaft, and a 12-bolt rear end with 3.55:1 gears. The exhaust system features Thorley Tri-Y headers, Dynomax mufflers, and 2.5″ tubing.
