This 1975 Triumph TR6 was acquired by the seller in 1996 and underwent a body-off refurbishment the following year. The car is finished in red over black and powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six equipped with three Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a Good Parts intake manifold and air box, an aftermarket camshaft and valves, stainless steel headers, and a Monza exhaust system. Service performed in 2020 is said to consist of a replacement clutch release cylinder, fuel filter, and coolant hoses, as well as a carburetor tune and an oil change.
The body was factory-finished in Pimento Red (72) and was repainted in 1997 following the installation of a replacement driver-side floor pan. Exterior features include a front spoiler, a black soft top, a chrome luggage rack and bumpers, dual side mirrors, and quad exhaust outlets. The bumper overriders have been removed, and the seller notes the uninstalled windshield washer fluid reservoir and pump will aLompany the car.
Silver 15″ Panasport wheels are mounted with 215/65 Michelin Pilot XGT H4 tires. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums, and the car has been fitted with stainless steel brake lines, lowering springs, and an aftermarket sway bar.
The seats are trimmed in black vinyl, and the cabin features a matching dash pad, carpeting, and door panels. Amenities include a woodgrain dash, a wood shift knob, a defroster, a lockable glove box, and three-point belts.
A Moto Lita-style steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. The seller notes the horn is not functional. The five-digit odometer shows just over 92k miles.
The 2.5-liter inline-six was reportedly rebuilt in 1997 and fitted with three Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a performance camshaft, and competition valves and seats. Additional equipment is said to include the following components:
