This 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 IROC-Z was delivered new to Jerry Brown Chevrolet in Buford, Georgia, and acquired by the seller in June 2021. The car is finished in red over gray cloth and powered by a 5.0-liter TPI V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 16” alloy wheels, fog lights, power windows and door locks, a factory Delco cassette stereo, and air conditioning.
The car is finished in red with louvered hood inserts, side moldings, and IROC-Z graphics. Additional equipment includes fog lights, front and rear spoilers, and dual exhaust outlets.
Factory 16” five-spoke alloy wheels wear IROC-Z center caps and are wrapped in 245/50 Goodyear Eagle GT tires. Braking is handled by power discs at all four corners. The IROC-Z featured an upgraded suspension compared to contemporary Camaros, and the seller states the sway bar end links have been replaced. The removed end links are included in the sale.
The cabin features seats upholstered in gray cloth with matching door panels and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and locks, a factory Delco cassette stereo, and a leather-wrapped shift knob and parking brake handle. The stereo does not play out of all the speakers, and a spare set of sun visors is included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 1,900 miles.
The 5.0-liter V8 features tuned-port fuel injection and produced 215 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine oil and air filter were replaced in preparation for sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and limited-slip differential.
The dealer invoice lists colors and options as well as a total suggested retail price of $16,509.
