The truck was acquired in 2016 by the seller, and service and modifications since 2018 included the installation of the turbodiesel engine along with a replacement transmission, timing belt, clutch components, driveshafts, axles, and suspension components. Equipment includes a locking rear differential, a heavy-duty clutch, a winch, remote entry, a Bluetooth-capable CD stereo, rock sliders, dual batteries, 17″ wheels, Scheel-Mann front seats, an aftermarket roof rack and bumpers, and LED headlights and spotlights. This FJ60 is now offered with aLessories, partial service records, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Kentucky title in the seller’s name.

The left-front fender was replaced, refinished, and has a dent that can be seen in the gallery below, and the seller believes the right-rear quarter panel was partially refinished during prior ownership.
Steel 17″ wheels are finished in black and wear 265/70 Yokohama Geolandar A/T tires, and a full-size spare tire is mounted on a swing-out carrier at the rear. Suspension modifications include coil springs, Old Man Emu BP-51 shocks, and Slee Off-Road control arms up front with leaf springs out back paired with Ironman 4×4 shocks.
The cabin features beige cloth upholstery with gray vinyl trim on the Scheel-Mann front seats and the factory rear bench, along matching door panels and brown carpets. Power door locks were installed during current ownership, along with replacement weatherstripping and front window regulators, and additional amenities include remote entry, air conditioning, a lockable center console, and a Bluetooth-capable Jensen CD stereo.
The factory two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Speedhut instrumentation including a 100-mph GPS speedometer with an inset fuel gauge, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and exhaust gas temperature. The digital odometer shows under 3k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The cargo area features a tie-down platform and WagonGear storage areas in the side panels and tailgate.
A 4.2-liter 1HD-FT turbodiesel inline-six was installed in 2018. The engine was resealed and the valves were adjusted prior to installation and a replacement timing belt and starter were fitted, and additional modifications include a GTurbo Grunter Extreme turbocharger, an intercooler, and an aluminum radiator. An 80-series-specification airbox and oil catch can have been installed, along with dual batteries.
Power is sent to the rear or all wheels through a replacement H55 five-speed manual transmission with a heavy-duty clutch, both of which were installed in 2018. The two-speed transfer case was rebuilt during current ownership and Tom Wood’s custom driveshafts were installed, along with 80-series-specification axles. The front and rear differentials have 3.73:1 axle ratios and the rear differential is fitted with a Harrop ELocker.
