This 1996 Honda Integra Type R is one of approximately 2,292 Japanese-market DB8 sedans produced for the model year and is finished in white over black cloth. The car was imported to the US from Japan in June 2021, and maintenance since that time reportedly included changing the fluids and replacing the tires.
Introduced in 1995 and sold under the Honda brand, the JDM version of the third-generation Integra featured enclosed one-piece headlights, red Honda badges, and body-colored side skirts and spoilers. The sedan variant was exclusive to the Japanese domestic market, and this example is finished in white. Other equipment includes tinted rear windows, a power antenna, and a single exhaust outlet.
White-finished 15″ wheels show paint chips and are mounted with 195/55 Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R tires that were reportedly installed recently. The Type R featured thicker sway bars in addition to revised springs and shocks when compared to the standard Integra.
The right-hand-drive cabin features Recaro front seats and a rear bench upholstered in black cloth with red stitching as well as a matching dashboard, door panels, carpets, and floor mats. Equipment includes air conditioning, a Pioneer infotainment screen, a metal shift knob, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel frames a Bluetooth microphone, a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline, a 185-km/h speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 60k kilometers (~37k miles).
The 1.8-liter B18C DOHC inline-four features VTEC variable valve timing and was rated at 197 horsepower and 131 lb-ft of torque when new. Fluid services and an oil change are said to have been carried out by the seller.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
