The Silver Spur was a long-wheelbase version of the contemporary Silver Spirit, and this example was delivered new in black and features contrasting pinstripes as well as a Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament.
Factory 16″ wheels wear chrome-finished center covers and are mounted with 235/65 Goodyear Eagle GA tires. The Silver Spur featured an electronically-controlled suspension system from the factory.
The interior features adjustable and heated front and rear seats upholstered in Parchment leather with black piping. Walnut wood veneers accent the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional amenities include automatic climate control with separate upper and lower temperature settings, cruise control, and an AM/FM cassette stereo with a CD changer.
The rear passenger portion of the cabin features a shared armrest that houses a Motorola car phone along with fold-out picnic trays that stow in the backs of the front seats.
A four-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a power-adjustable column and fronts a 150-mph speedometer and a combination gauge separated by a panel with warning lamps. The digital odometer shows 32k miles.
The turbocharged 6.75-liter L410 V8 sends power to the rear wheels via a GM-sourced four-speed automatic transmission.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Midwestern Auto Group in Dublin, Ohio, colors, equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $186,100.
