This car is finished in silver over black leather and powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes the Premium Package, a limited-slip differential, bi-xenon headlights, 18″ M-double spoke wheels, a Harman Kardon sound system, a six-disc CD changer, and navigation. Work performed between August 2020 and January 2021 consisted of a bodywork refresh, wheel refinishing, and an inspection I as well as replacement of the camshaft sensor, VANOS and solenoid seals, spark plugs, differential input shaft seal, and ultrasonic alarm lower bracket.
The car is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354) and features M3-specific bodywork, bi-xenon headlamps, fog lights, fender vents, Shadowline trim, a glass sunroof, a decklid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. Work performed in October 2020 included a repaint of the front and rear bumper covers and the right quarter panel along with replacement of the right fog light assembly and the right front fender liner.
Factory 18″ Style 67 wheels were refinished in October 2020 and wear 225/45 and 255/40 Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 tires that show date codes from 2015. A brake fluid flush was performed in August 2020 by Weatherford BMW of Berkley, California.
The cabin features seating upholstered in black Nappa leather with matching door panel inserts, and Titan Shadow trim aLents the dash and center console. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, navigation, Harmon Kardon audio, and a trunk-mounted CD changer. The front passenger airbag was replaced under a recall campaign in August 2020, while the auto dimming rearview mirror was repaired in November 2020, and a replacement A-pillar cover was installed in January 2021.
A multifunction steering wheel frames gray M-branded instrumentation that consists of a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline along with gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The odometer indicates just under 31k miles.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six features individual throttle bodies and VANOS variable valve timing, and was rated at 333 horsepower and 262 ft-lb of torque when new. Work performed between August 2020 and January 2021 included replacement of the VANOS and solenoid seals, exhaust camshaft sensor, ultrasonic alarm lower bracket, and cabin air filter along with completion of an Inspection I service and changes of the coolant and engine oil. The connecting rod bearing recall was carried out by BMW of San Francisco in April 2007.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission with a M-Variable lock differential. The differential input shaft seal was replaced in November 2020 by Bavarian Professionals of Berkley, California.
