The Targa 4S featured wider rear bodywork compared to that of the standard 997, and this example is finished in black. Exterior equipment includes xenon headlamps with washers, a sliding glass roof panel, a retractable rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets with polished tips.
Polished 19″ Turbo wheels wear Porsche-crest center caps and are mounted with 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Braking is from red-finished multi-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors at each corner. Wheel spacers and Eibach sport springs are said to have been installed under current ownership.
The seats are upholstered in black leather and are joined by a color-matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include the Sport Chrono package, power-adjustable and heated front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, Bose audio, and a Sony head unit with Apple CarPlay integration. The Targa featured additional storage behind the rear seats, which is aLessible from beneath the rear hatch glass.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames white instrument dials including a 200-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows just over 35k miles.
The 3.8-liter flat-six was factory rated at 355 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. Fabspeed stainless steel headers have been installed, and a muffler bypass pipe modification was reportedly performed.
