It is finished in Valencia Orange Metallic over black Boston leather with orange stitching, and power is from a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The 1M was visually distinguished from standard 1-Series coupes with flared fenders, unique front and rear styling, and four exhaust exits. This car is one of just 435 North American-market examples that were finished in Valencia Orange Metallic (B44), and features include Shadowline trim, adaptive xenon headlights, and black kidney grilles.
19″ Style 359 wheels were refinished in black during prior ownership and are mounted with 245/35 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires showing 2017 date codes. The 1M shares its rear subframe as well as suspension and braking components with its contemporary M3. A brake flush was performed in September 2021.
The cabin features black Boston leather upholstery with orange stitching on the seats as well as matching Alcantara accents on the dashboard, shifter boot, and door panels. Manually adjustable front sport seats have inflatable bolsters and extendable thigh supports, and additional equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, M-embroidered floor mats, and a BMW Professional CD stereo with a Harman Kardon audio system. An orange starter-button surround is fitted, along with an aftermarket M-branded footrest and foot pedals. The removed factory components are included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel has tri-color stitching and features an M button. Instrumentation includes a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and inset gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates just over 14k miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0L N54 inline-six was factory rated at 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, with an overboost function allowing for an additional 37 lb-ft of torque in short bursts. Work by the seller is said to include an oil change service and replacement of the air filter in September 2021. An aftermarket charge pipe has been installed.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
Scale models, an uninstalled Dinan upper strut brace, and spare and removed factory parts are included in the sale.
